I finally took my camera away from home for only the second time in a while. Revisiting sites that have been interesting before, I made these photographs yesterday, June 25th, The happy news for me is that a number of them were handheld. I was not too confidant they would be clear as my Pentax 67 is a big-ass and somewhat heavy machine, but, at 1/60th and 1/125th of a second it was fine. All were from Palmetto Road which goes to the Kingsley Plantation except one from Cedar Point again.

My photography expedition of two days ago included these additional images that I think are okay after two days of consideration. Two are trees at the picnic place at Pumpkin Point, one is of the marsh I posted photographs of already, and one is a shrimp boat dock area that I've photographed quite a few times.

I'm really enjoying deeply seeing what's here at home. The tree in this photo captivates me every day, and seems to lure me to make frequent portraits. Some of it is dead, but its bones are a visual treat at least to me! The dangling branch got me right away, but its shadow made it impossible to ignore.

Little Talbot Island SP is a camera magnet, so back I went yet again. The path to the beach (about a half mile) is interesting in itself; here are three photographs of just a little bit of it. The beach is littered with fallen trees often referred to as driftwood which is isn't. This particular tree intrigued me enough to photograph it even after I had taken the camera off the tripod. The day was bright enough for me to use the camera (P67, 55mm lens) hand held...a shutter speed of 125th second.

Experimenting with long exposure using my Mamiya C220 which is entirely manual, I shot a roll of T-Max 100 and a 10 stop NDG. I didn't get exactly what I had hoped for, but a bit of futzing in Photoshop Elements made a few okay enough to post here. (I normally use Ilford Delta 100, but it wasn't available from B&H just now.)
