Here are four more from 2003. All were taken in Orange County, NY. For those who wonder why the county is named "Orange", Professor Dr. Google explains: "Orange County was established in 1683 as one of the original counties of the Province of New York. The county name is derived from King William III of England who was a Prince of the House of Orange."

Going through a lot of old negatives I haven't thought about in years, I came across a bunch of them I'm really eager to scan and present here. The first two are of some old, rotted pilings in the Hudson River at Beacon NY. I'm guessing these were taken around 2003 or 2004, but they might have been still earlier...I didn't label the storage sheets then the way I do now! The other two are of a farm field and trees taken at about the same time.

Though I've now lived in Jacksonville for ten years, I have not explored very much of it. Today, I discovered a gorgeous little park I had not even heard of let alone visited. The stream that runs through it is bordered by concrete balustrades that further add to its charm. Here are some photographs I made there today.
