A trip to Little Talbot Island SP on a pleasant April day allowed these views at the beach.

Years ago I learned to not only photograph what's in front of me, but to turn around and also see what's behind!  Of course, when at the beach, it's obligatory to photograph whatever there is to see toward the water.  Except for the first photograph here, the rest are looking back.

Again from Guana River SP, this first photograph is from a second roll of film.  It's a closer view of the left side of a previous post. The second image is from Clapboard Creek where I often go to try to make a photograph, but rarely succeed with one I'm pleased with. The third photograph, titled "Ooops!!" is also from Clapboard Creek, and is mildly amusing, but that boat was more than 35 feet long and a real shame to have ended this way. I was told it's been there for several weeks, but no one I talked to knew what had happened to bring it to such an unfortunate end!

I discovered a new-to-me state park beside the Guana River and the Intra-coastal Waterway. There are miles of interesting trails to explore, and wildlife to view if that is of interest. For me, the forest is the attraction as well as the pleasure of an easy hike!

I had a vividly imagined scene I wanted to photograph that required me to be at Marineland beach at dawn. It's about a 45 minute drive in the dark. You'd be surprised at the volume of traffic at that hour on a Saturday morning, but, hey Interstate 95 is pretty busy nearly all the time!  When I arrived, I schlepped my gear to the jetty I had intended to make the foreground for the image, but there was a wedding party exactly where I needed to be...at 6:30 AM....on the beach....in dawn's first light!  Bastards! ;)  So, these several photographs, without the jetty, were what I was able to make. I like 'em, but I'll have to make another trip for the photograph I had imagined.
