In this period of social distancing, it's nice to be able to return to places I love to see where few people gather (although there were lots and lots of fishermen off in their boats). These two images are of such a place...Cedar Point...that I've photographed several times before.  As always in nature, though, so many elements change daily that the photographs are always different.

And still more from the archives even further back in time...2000.

Here's another from the archives...an orchard near Kingston, NY I photographed in 2002 using Konica Infrared film.  That film is less extreme than the Kodak version. I don't think either is still available.

Revisiting old photographs is fun, and I enjoyed posting them here, but I was finally able to get out yesterday and make some new ones.  These are from Dutton Island Preserve which I haven't visited for several years. I was glad I did!

From the archives of 2005, two photographs of ruins beside the stream in Beacon, NY.  These are both gone, now, replaced by new condos and such.  (4x5 Film)
