Finding these oldies is fun! The ones in this post are from 1994 and include one from Bear Mountain SP of the bridge there, one from an upstate NY farm, and three from the Finger Lakes region of upstate NY. I was told that that area was used for some very early Tarzan movies, but I'm a much later vintage, and cannot verify that! ;)))

Here are three more from 2002. These were taken in Awosting Reserve which is  part of Minnewaska State Park in NY.  It couldn't be more antithetical to Florida terrain and conditions, and I really do miss it!

I've been meaning to look at negatives I made a long time ago, and today I did. There are quite a few more to look at, but I chose these three to begin. I'm not sure where the marsh was, but I must have found it interesting enough to photograph.  Of the several shots I made, I chose this. Where I photographed the ice, snow and dark water with stick is also not recorded, nor is the side of the tree. They were all in a protective negative sheet from 2002.

I often return to Kingsley Plantation which is very well run by the National Park Service. It's a rich resource for all who want to learn a bit of what life was like on a Sea Island Plantation that raised cotton and indigo among other things. I especially value the bookstore that offers a variety of factual items without having to acknowledge the censorship currently in evidence here in Florida. Does it make one uncomfortable to be informed about life for enslaved Africans??  Bloody damn right it does as it absolutely should.  Two of these images are of the waterway that served to transport the plantations produce, and the other is of what may have been a witness tree at that time.

Just for silly:  The Old Man And The Tree!

I was looking forward to the journey south to Florida that would take me through Shenandoah NP.  However, I was really disappointed at the light during my drive through it...just clear, and cloudless. Nevertheless, here are five images that I sorta like. These were it for this trip.

Returning home this past week, I visited Steelstacks in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Here are four photographs of what still stands. This whole town centered on the production of steel and the remains of the mill are fascinating to see.

Returning home from NY after a sad occasion, I drove through Pennsylvania on Interstate 78.  I'm from Pennsylvania originally, and I feel a strong connection to the place. I got off the highway when I saw this rural view and wanted to photograph it. Here are five from the roll.
