I'm really enjoying deeply seeing what's here at home.  The tree in this photo captivates me every day, and seems to lure me to make frequent portraits.  Some of it is dead, but its bones are a visual treat at least to me!  The dangling branch got me right away, but its shadow made it impossible to ignore.

I'm still finding subjects worth photographing in the large yard behind our house.  Here are two more:

Gardenias flourish in our backyard just now.  Here are three in good health, and one with the droops...:(

Little Talbot Island SP is a camera magnet, so back I went yet again. The path to the beach (about a half mile) is interesting in itself;  here are three photographs of just a little bit of it. The beach is littered with fallen trees often referred to as driftwood which is isn't. This particular tree intrigued me enough to photograph it even after I had taken the camera off the tripod. The day was bright enough for me to use the camera (P67, 55mm lens) hand held...a shutter speed of 125th second.

Little Talbot Island State Park is my favorite place to photograph fallen trees which are often described incorrectly as driftwood.  Here are three from a recent visit.
